The Desktop Support team provides help and technical support relating to IT services, software, and fixing computer equipment. A range of resources and services is available through Desktop Support, including: knowledgeable staff to assist you by phone and at your office; fast and effective troubleshooting of computer problems; new computer set-up and configuration; on-site software installs, upgrades, and hardware service assistance.
Desktop and Laptop Support
IT Techcare faculty, staff, and students can bring their laptop computers to the IT Service Desk for assistance with virus removal, NYURoam wireless connectivity, and other issues. Though drop-in service is available Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm ET, you may have to wait for an available IT Service Desk staff member; appointments are recommended.
